Continually ask yourself ‘Why?’

by John Robson on September 22, 2011

shutterstock_29826631In our drive to understand the truth of who we are, we gain much by asking ‘why?’ With any situation in life, we can ponder, “What does this mean?” This questioning automatically leads us to the level of soul. Why are we thinking, feeling and doing what we are in this moment? When we uncover the motives, we find either the soul qualities themselves or the shadows that will directly lead us to our soul qualities.

Throughout each day, stop as many times as you remember to do so and ask, “Why am I thinking/feeling/doing this?” Do not judge the answers that arise. Simply become aware of them.

Spiritual Growth and Daily Spiritual Living Tips support you in grounding spirituality in your everyday living and help awaken you to your authentic self.
