Get your heart involved

Get to the heart of the matter.

“There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.” – Napoleon Hill

We’re talking passion here, and passion comes from the heart. You will be most successful with this work if your goals really matter to you. For goals with this much meaning, we need to go to our hearts. Our heads tend to tell us to do what we’ve always done, what we think we should do or what other people want and expect us to do. Instead, we need to find out what we really want to be doing with our lives.

How do you listen to your heart? Give yourself space, time, peace and quiet. Ask your heart a question.
Cultivate a willingness to be open and to listen for feedback. Your heart’s desires may come in different
forms at different times. The answer will be what you WANT to do, not necessarily what you think you should do. If there’s no excitement for you around the goal, it’s not coming from the heart. Go for more. Your heart is desperate to tell you. Trust that the answer will come. And know that what you really want to do is probably what you should be doing!

Using our personal goal setting tools and worksheets help you get clarity about what you want, set priorities, create a plan and attain results.
