Living on the edge (of mind and heart)

by John Robson on March 16, 2011

We tend to live most of our lives in our unconscious comfort zone, the robot zone where we do the same things over and over again. Think about it. When was the last time you had an original thought or even a good idea and implemented it?

shutterstock_108942134I have a dread of inertia so I spend at least 5 minutes per day visiting the outer envelope of my mind. I push myself into new territory because it is there that I experience new feelings, healing, insights, ideas and potentials. And I like to use a variety of tools to capture my exploration – journaling, meditating, drawing, art… whatever most inspires me at the time. If you’re ready to break free of old ruts, our e-book ‘ Journaling for Self Empowerment – Going Deeper … Reaching Higher …’ has loads of tools and tips.
