How can you be today that will feel joyful and deeply satisfying?

Here are some tips to support you in making each day count:

1. Know specifically what you want for your life. Having goals in mind helps us avoid the trap of busyness and get right down to business.

2. Ask yourself 'why?' What is my motivation? As often as you remember to do so, ask yourself: Why am I doing what I'm doing? Would I prefer to be or do something different? How can I bring that 'something different' into reality?

3. Create your own Hot List. A Hot List is a to-do list but it only includes topics or tasks that genuinely affect your quality of life. Keep a prioritised Hot List handy so when you have 5 to 15 minutes free, you can focus on and write about what counts in life. Your attention on what matters will get the energy moving.

For fulfillment, we need to take our lives off autopilot. We need to consciously decide what we will and will not do, moment by moment. We need to give ourselves the space, permission and freedom to be proactive in choosing how we live each day. And only we can judge what's right for us.
